Description: If you enjoy masterfully constructed atmosphere, atmosphere that might often feel like the coldness of space, this is an album for you. The album features a gamelan ensemble as well as a steel drum which are interesting instrument choices considering the film’s content. Martinez creates what I can only describe as a floating sensation with his layered tones and rhythms; the music conjures an image of watching something float away into the blackness of space. It’s an excellent album for sci-fi writing.
