Description: Simple instrument sets create the feeling of isolation and introspection in the film’s rural environment. The music was utilized to set the mood between Paul Rudd and Emile Hirsch’s characters who had many ups-and-downs as they painted lane dividers on a lonely, country road, as well as speaking for the vast, empty openness around them. It is sometimes melancholy, sometimes subdued, and sometimes hopeful. A great soundtrack to have in the background while writing character pieces.
