Description: Hans Zimmer is known for blockbusters (Christopher Nolan’s Batman franchise, Inception, Interstellar, etc.) but he does on occasion get back to films like this, and here his music is completely different and with more personality. Instrumentation is typical (and for good reasons) for this romantic comedy, heavily using piano, strings, guitars, woodwinds, and pitched percussion. The melodies are pretty, the feeling is light, and the personality is often sentimental. A great listen for those writing about romance or positive family themes.
